Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation that emulates the objectives of the United Nations by addressing critical global issues through an academic framework.

Participants assume the roles of delegates representing various countries, engaging in the resolution of real world challenges while adhering to the policies and perspectives of their assigned nation. For example, a student may be assigned the United Kingdom and will have to approach global topics such as nuclear non-proliferation or climate change from the policies and perspectives of the United Kingdom.

Al Salam Community School, in the spirit of creating a legacy of collaboration and dedication to community engagement, hosts an annual MUN conference for our youth to experience, to learn, to flourish, to make an impact, to change a life.
