ASCS MUN 2026 will entertain a limited number of delegates to ensure a focused and engaging experience. Therefore, you will be notified after registration about the availability of seats in ASCS MUN 2026.
For this reason, we would advise potential delegates to register as early as possible to ensure their participation in ASCS MUN 2026.
After confirming your registration for ASCS MUN 2026 and recieving full payment, you will be informed of your committee and country allocation. These will be categorized into Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Specialised levels.
After confirmation of the committee allocation, delegates will be asked to draft position papers for their designated country and committee. A position paper focuses on the country's stance on the issue being discussed through deliberations.
Position papers are mandatory for all delegates to complete. They ensure sufficient preparation for the conference and qualify delegates for the 'Best Researcher' award.
Deadline to submit Position Papers: Monday, 2nd February 2026
Success in an MUN conference requires thorough preparation and learning. Delegates should familiarise themselves with the following:
Rules of Procedure for the MUN conference
The specific committee they will participate in
Their country's stance on the issues being discussed
Drafting resolutions
Presentation skills for the conference
By preparing in these areas, delegates will enhance their experience and enjoyment of the entire MUN conference.
